School-based Workshops
Working with young people, and supporting the thriving, creativity and learning for all, is at the heart of everything we do at Little Bards.
We design and deliver school-based workshops, with story-telling and collaboration at the center of these sessions.

We work with schools on the topics/ stories they wish to deliver, creating an age appropriate programme. We then lead the educational and fun-filled session to support the learning of young people for a particular topic.

Our workshops enable children to experience rehearsal techniques, devising, physical theatre, voice-work and improvisation. Our sessions will also begin to build their knowledge of theatre practices, such as puppetry, script writing and forum theatre.

With all our sessions, our Little Bard's confidence will soar, and they will continue to develop their communication and social skills, with an energetic, artistic and nurturing approach.

Please find some wonderful feedback we have already received below. We can’t wait to hear from you!

"Today, the Key Stage 1 children enjoyed a thrilling St. George and the Dragon drama workshop. During the session, they used their bodies, voices, and imaginations to bring the legend to life. Working together, they created shapes representing the dragon and George's horse, supporting teamwork. They also explored dragon-like movements, experimented with different materials, and learned more about England's patron saint. It was a delightful blend of fun and learning for everyone involved!"
